Good book

Its actually out of print, but my NP professor recommended trying to get a hold of one. I assumed I'd only find a used copy, but it arrived brand new (softcover). It really covers the basics of gerontological assessment, and Mosby is usually reliable.

Gerontology handbook

Good basic information on doing assessments on the elderly. Maybe a newer edition would have some updates on disease symptoms, etc., but overall very helpful.
