A graduate of MIT in Boston and the Jung Institute of Zurich, Switzerland, Arnold Mindell, PhD., is the founder of a new school of therapy called Process Oriented Psychology. Found!...a meditation tool I can live with

Is your meditation practice gone stale? Does it seem narrow and lacking in richness? Then this is the book for you. Arnold Mindell is the founder (I believe) of process psychology. He describes techniques in his useful book that I find extraordinary and so helpful to me in my inner work. He describes the various channels we view reality through. Including but not limited to the seeing, hearing, body sense and kinesthetic. And using the process mind techniques you try constantly to be aware in the present moment what channel you are functioning in. This is not a ten minutes per day procedure! It is also not the static one channel of most Buddhist methods that I have studied. Trying his ideas out has shown to be an exciting adventure for me. You have nothing to lose by trying his self help ideas out. And a whole lot to gain.

Easy as pie.

I had to buy this book for the class being offered at my hospital. It was to be able to read the heart monitors on our heart floor. The book was easy to read and understand. About the Author

Elizabeth E. Guzm�n�is the Director of the Elementary and Intermediate Spanish Language Program at the University of Iowa. Previously, she served as Language Coordinator at St. John’s University/College of St. Benedict, Director of the Spanish Program at Yale University, and Coordinator and Co-Director of the Elementary and Intermediate Language Program at The University of Michigan. In her native Chile, she supervised instructors of English as a Foreign Language. Ms. Guzm�n received her B.A in English from Universidad de Santiago (Chile) and her M.A. in English as a Second Language from West Virginia University, and then pursued doctoral studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a co-author of Pearson’s Unidos, Identidades�and several earlier editions of�Mosaicos.

Paloma Lapuerta�holds the title ofProfessor of Spanish at Central Connecticut State University, where she teaches courses in Spanish language, culture, and literature. She has over twenty years of teaching experience at higher institutions around the world, including Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, and the United States, where she has taught at the University of Michigan, Dartmouth College, and the Middlebury College Spanish School. She completed her�Licenciatura�in Spanish Philology at the University of Salamanca, and she holds a Ph.D. in Spanish literature from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She has published numerous articles and a book on Spanish culture and literature. Judith E. Liskin-Gasparro�is a professor of Spanish at the University of Iowa, where she teaches courses in second language acquisition, pedagogy, and Spanish language. She is the co-director of FLARE (Foreign Language Acquisition Research and Education), which offers an interdisciplinary doctoral program in Second Language Acquisition, and she was formerly the Director of the Elementary and Intermediate Spanish Language Program. Previously, she taught at Middlebury College and worked as a test development consultant at Educational Testing Service. She received her A.B. in Spanish from Bryn Mawr College, her M.A. from Princeton University and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Foreign Language Education. She has published articles and books on language learning and teaching and has led many workshops for language teachers.She is a co-author of Pearson’s Unidos, Identidades, La escritura paso a paso, and earlier editions of Mosaicos, all published by Prentice Hall.

Great effort but not quite there

The book is written with broken English, poor spelling and grammer. I have been a mud engineer for only 4 years but some of the info in this book is not 100 % accurate and even I notice it and I consider myself a novice in drilling fluids. If you haven't been to mud school or offered any in-house mud school at your work the book will help out. You can still learn more about mud from this book than any rig hand or Co. Man will tell you. There is so much misinformation in the oil patch that it is ridiculous.
